Views of God’s Existence

Take a quick look at 7 major views that philosophers,
theologians, scientists, and others believe about God’s existence.

1. Atheism - There is no God.
   
2. Agnosticism - We cannot know if there is a God.
   
3. Pantheism - God is everything; everything is God.
   
4. Polytheism - There are many gods. (poly = many)
   
5. Dualism - There are 2 equal gods; good vs. evil.
   
6. Deism - God created the universe and then left it to run by itself.
   
7. Theism (monotheism) - One true God exists.

7. Theism - is the view that the Bible supports, ONE TRUE GOD. The other 6 views are incorrect and unbiblical, but you must be aware of them and their teachings.

“One God and Father of all, who is above all,
and through all, and in you all.” - Eph. 4:6

“For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in
we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols
to serve the living and true God.” - 1Thess. 1:9

“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well:
the devils also believe, and tremble.” - James 2:19
